HOMEMADE KETCHUP—RECIPE 1
Ingredients
- 6 ounces tomato paste (BPA-Free can where possible!)
- 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar (or natural sweetener of your choice)
- 2 tbsp onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt (sea salt…skip the synthetic chemicals in table salt)
- 1/8 tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp pepper

Method: Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until the onion disappears. INGREDIENTS
1 28 oz-can tomato puree (BPA-Free can where possible!)
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt (sea salt…skip the synthetic chemicals in table salt)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp smoked paprika.
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, whisk together all the ingredients over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, whisking occasionally, and cook for 10-15 minutes, until thickened to desired consistency. Be sure to use a splash guard to prevent splatter and also remove the pan from the heat to stir.
Let cool slightly before serving. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
