Healthy Eats

It's good food, good for you. An accumulation of great, healthy food from different sources. Recipes, tips (and sometimes nutrition facts) included. {And for followers you have noticed, it has become a hodgepodge of health related things.}

This is a blueberry smoothie I made a while back with bananas, milk, ice, and honey (I think?). I took a picture because the color of the smoothie itself is beautiful and fun to look at while you are eating.

The trick: Try to blend your smoothie for at least a minute or two. It breaks down the fruit more but especially if it’s fruit with a tough skin (that at times may be hard to get out of your teeth), the color is brought out if you blend it more.

Bonus: IT MADE MY MOUTH AND TONGUE NATURALLY BLUE! It was so much fun and healthy too!
